REV. DR. EBONY HALL

Reverend Dr. Ebony L. Hall was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia up until her teenage years. After a military assignment in the Navy of her late father, Rodney E. Hall, Sr. her family relocated to Texas. She was baptized at the age of 15 by Rev. C.L. Taylor, senior Pastor of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. She has been a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church for over twenty years where she has served in several ministries including the Prayer Ministry, Young Adult Ministry, Wellness Ministry, Women's Mission Ministry, Praise Dance Ministry, Prison Ministry, and the Youth Ministry. She accepted her call to ministry as a prophetic preacher in 2008 and was licensed as a Baptist minister on July 17th, 2012. She was recently ordained in 2018 under her shepherd Pastor Taylor. Rev. Dr. Hall currently serves as an Associate Minister assigned to the Youth Ministry for the past three years. She has spoken and preached at various local, state, and national conferences and has served with the Baptist General Convention of Texas Youth Camp for over ten years as one of its primary deans/speakers for the 12th grade and female students. She has her Master of Divinity from Brite Divinity on the campus of Texas Christian University and received an undergraduate and graduate degree from Baylor University in Social Work. She obtained her PhD in Social Work from UT Arlington. Rev. Dr. Hall is an Associate Professor at Tarleton State University and is a licensed Master Level Social Worker for Mesa Springs Psychiatric Hospital in Fort Worth. Her favorite scripture comes from Genesis 1:2 and her spiritual gifts include prophecy, laying of hands, spiritual discernment, and prayer. Rev. Dr. Hall has a teenage daughter who also serves as a Discipleship student in the church and ministers with the Step Team Ministry.
