Tasty Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 4 Green Bean Cans

  • 1/2 Onion

  • 2 tsp. Vegetable Oil

  • 1/2 Cup of Butter

  • 3 Bacon Slices

Instructions:

1. Fry bacon in a pan until it is thoroughly cooked but not crisp. Place to the side.

2. Cut onions in semi-circles and simmer in a large pot of hot grease until soft)

3. Drain ½ of the juice from each can of green beans and add to the pot with the onion mix

4. Cook green beans and onion mix for 10 minutes.

5. Pour in bacon and grease into the pot of green beans and simmer for 10 minutes

6. Put in butter, salt and pepper to taste

Serves 4 to 8 people
