A Drone's View

“As high as the heavens are above the earth, so high are my ways and thoughts above yours.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:9‬ ‭

I was looking at a picture of a house taken by a drone and this verse came to mind.

At any given time I use either the front, the garage or back entrance to enter or exit my house and the only part of the building I can see at any particular moment is the side of the building I choose to use.

Never at any given time can I see all four sides of my house including everything in it at one time.

The drone gave me a vivid idea and a complete view of what God sees and He has been trying to tell us daily; He sees it all at one time.

Our life is in His hands because He has a drones view in the situation we may be facing now.

Like a chess game God is able to read all our moves including those of our opponents. And as a child of God He navigates our moves so perfectly well we go through the storms unscratched. Even if it feels like hell in the storms it's because we look at the situation through our physical eyes.

So it does make perfect sense when He tells us our ways are not His ways because He is looking at everything and planning with all the moving parts available to Him.

We don't have all the parts at one time, we only have a piece of the situation so why should we ever think that we can do this life on our own?

Lord forgive us for not trusting you completely.

I looked at that drone picture again one more time as I write this piece, and then;

I heard The Still Small Voice:

"This is how I see you- a complete package- and you belong to me, let me do my work in you."

Okay guys what else can I say to that?

Just to be still and allow Him to do His work.
