Unto Us, a Child is Born

Isaiah 9:6

"For unto us a Child is born,

Unto us a Son is given;

And the government will be upon His shoulder.

And His name will be called

Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The Word of God is real, true and perfect. Can you imagine that these words have been written by Prophet Isaiah before the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ?  And it came to reality and fulfillment in the life of our Saviour after 700 years! You and I are part of this revelation that came to pass as Christmas today. It worth a celebration because of the truth "a child was born" and "a child was given". Amen!

A child was born to save us, heal us, provide for us, keep us, lead us, direct us, and most importantly,  to redeem us. God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son, what will you do to appreciate this gift in return? 

As we celebrate Jesus' birthday today, who came to the world over 2,000 years ago, always remember that He came for a purpose and, He is the reason for this season. For the purpose and reason to be fulfilled and not go in vain, we must give our lives and rededicate it to the man who gave us life, eternal life.
