Trust Him Alone
/Have you ever faced disappointment in any area of your life? Someone promised you heaven and earth, but failed to fulfill those promises for one reason or the other, or whether he did that intentional or unintentional? Whatever the case may be, you were once been jilted, disappointed, failed, faced insecurity, neglected or probably been abused. There is a Savior I want to introduce you to or remind you of that never fails in all ways. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God is never a man, and He can never be! God’s requirement of us and one of the most important things a Christian should do is to trust in God and Him alone as the healer, the comforter, the helper, and our sufficiency. When all else fails in your life, God’s plan for you will never fail, but you must put your trust in Him.
David trusted in the name of God alone to the extent of boasting about God as his helper, and of course, He helped him to defeat every battle and was victorious. He depended on God for his protection, guard, and shield. He recognized that anyone who trusts in other things will fall, but whosoever trusts in the name of God will stand forever. Our prophets cannot help us because they have their issues, family and friends will fail you because they are humans, neither should we depend on our politicians for help because they have nothing to offer us than fear and panic. The Psalmist says, in Psalm 121: 1, I lift my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Goliath trusted in his sword, spear, and javelin to fight David and kill him, but David defeated and killed him with his trust in God. Mere seeing Goliath with his height and with all different kinds of his fighting tools was enough for David to give up the fight and accept defeat, but He did not allow those things to intimidate him. What do you trust? Worry? Anxiety? Fear? Complain? Stress? Or what do you rely on when life is difficult? What is that problem that is intimidating you? All other things you trusted have no defense for your life, they will only add to the existing problems. So, do not attempt to give up, only trust in God, who has solutions to every issue of our lives.
Will you trust Him today, and give all those concerns, worries, anxieties, challenges, and problems to Him? He will surely help you!
