Mountain Will Become Level Ground
/Do you think doing God’s work is so easy to do? Um, I guess not! There are lots of hindrances, obstacles, problems, and challenges churches, ministries, and individuals face. Sometimes, you wonder why the church or ministry faces these problems. It's just a challenge to exercise your faith in God, who has called you and who is able, abundantly able to sustain you.
The building of the Jerusalem temple was not an easy task after returning from captivity in Babylon for 70 years. As much as they made efforts to build it, the task seemed impossible. Many were discouraged, left the work, concentrated on their things, and gave up, including Zerubbabel, who was one of the workers.
The angel of the Lord told Zechariah, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.”When you read down to vs eight of that chapter, the Lord said that He has blessed the hand of Zerubbabel to lay the foundation of the temple, and that blessed hand will complete it. It was not Zechariah that said that God declared it and whatever He says, it will surely come to pass. There is power in the word of God, and this has been sent to you today, as a church, as a believer, and as an individual that your efforts might fail you and your plan might not be fruitful when doing God’s work, but the word of God stands forever that which you have laid your hands on doing for God will succeed. God is helping you, that you will not fail and labor in vain, for faithful is our God who will disappoint those who taught, you will fail in that which you have laid your hands on. He is mighty and mightier than the gigantic problems you are facing. He will level the mighty mountain of Sanballat and Tobiah, who stands as a hindrance, humiliation, mockers, and oppressors, laughing at your errors in your life and your ministry in Jesus’ name. Amen
