She's pretty for a dark skin.
I’m already dark I don't want a dark skin.
Melanin Mama
A noun
Used to describe a women who feels confident in her own skin
Whether light skin, brown or dark skin
But you know what they say about us dark skins
what they be saying
They say the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice.
But they also say the darker the berry the sour the fruit.
But them saying that is them failing to realize they are only praising and exhaling me to the highest.
I don't want no lighting on my pictures. I want it dark like tree bark
I want you to know that when you wake up in the morning and the sun hits you in the face know that that is a kiss.
A warm and radiant kiss giving you the start of your day.
I still exhibits love even though ive been hurt to many times
A beautiful black women you can see the stars in my complexion and the moon in my eyes.
I look like an angel in a human disguise
I have such a beautiful mind and immaculate natural skin.
And everything about me you magnificent and spectacular no matter you complexion you still exemplify the essence of Africa

My hair all yacky I get happy when they call it nappy and us blacky
Hold your head up beauty, they want our edges and the Braids that fall down our backs, and our plump applebums ever so natural.
They lack our confidence, dark and lovely, they took us from our motherland, yet we remained her toughly.
Nothing of our skin ugly, the sun loves me . I once met a young black woman who was buying bleach, to bathe in what she thought would make her lighter, self esteem low, a low blow of confidence . told her baby girl you were made with light you are bright and robust you look right with your bust, no implants needed . No need to look like Kylie Jenner you are made and completed.
I thank God for blessing you with excellence and benevolent worth
Because everything next to you is like a festival of heaven on earth
when god thought of you it took meditation
That's why even heaven is melanated
Our skin is elegant, no need for embellishment
Celebrated for centuries a queen simplicity and I'm sorry they made you hate your reflection so you hide behind make up to complete the worlds expectation
