Renewed Life

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2nd Corinthians 5:17).

There is something about this man that turns people's lives upside down when you have an encounter with Him. Usually the encounters are very brief but profound.

Sometimes it is a slow process and you become embedded and attached to Him you can not even tell exactly when you were attached.

Something truly happens to you when you have that encounter.

There is a complete transformation and the things you love to do just takes the backseat. You are no longer interested.

Your old self is gone and a new life begins to take root.

Are you still struggling with your old self? If yes will you say you have been truly saved? What is holding you back? Or there is some confusion? Oh yes I was confused too about all these born again stuff.

And then I decided to allow Him to take charge, so I let go and He began to do His work.

Part of the journey is to ask the Holy Spirit to help you let go of the old self. There is nothing to it.

Set yourself free so the Lord can make good use of your new self.
