Who Is Standing Because of Your Commitment to God?
/My Sunday school teacher asked this question in class, and the question caught my attention again while driving home.
In other words whom am I blessing spiritually because of my commitment to God?
Sometimes, there are certain questions you just want to avoid and not give an answer because you may feel you are not worthy enough to help others get to know God.
But I realised in my brokenness, God uses me the most to bless the people around me including people I don't know.
How?
By our actions when the world is at odds with us in the peak seasons of our lives that is when we send strong messages to others.
When we are not walking on shaky grounds, when our faith is not shaken testimonies are not really created.
It is through the tough sometimes and in the midst of our struggle that others are closely watching waiting to see what our actions will be.
Sometimes I fall flat on my face and wonder if I will get up, afraid I may disappoint those who look up to me.
But when you have tasted Him long enough and know that He is God, you just wait for the Lord to lead.
It is no longer about how I fall but if I will get up and keep walking.
The true test comes when our response to things around us are still pointing to Christ and nowhere else at the time when nothing else seems to be working.
So yes, I believe the people I inspire are still standing because I refuse to stay on the ground when I fall.
Knowing that I am part of the Kingdom helps me to keep moving forward and blessing others with my testimony regardless of how many steps I take back.
Keep walking!
