Acknowledge God

Proverbs 3:6

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

How does it feel to acknowledge God in all you do? Do you think that might be a hard thing to do because you want to do it in your way? The book of Proverbs is admonishing us to think about God always, keep Him in our mind all the time, and having intimate relationships and conversations with Him each time we pray. This passage is telling us to see God as the author and finisher of our faith and to recognize Him as the Lord, who is able and can do all things. This is a challenge for us to walk with God in all our ways, not leaving Him behind our plans because He is our guide. Seek His will, submit to Him, make Him the most important, and lay aside your preferences. By doing so, you can be sure that He will direct our paths, prosper our ways, and make every crooked way straight.
