Become A Giver

Luke 6:38

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.””

It has always been said that it is more blessed to give than to receive but do you believe this statement in your heart? I’m beginning to think that people like the latter part of this statement that says “receive.” Don’t get me wrong, I love to receive too, but I’ve learned that being able to give is so rewarding. My blessings come through my giving, my peace comes through my giving, my joy comes through my giving, my breakthrough comes through my giving. Many of us are looking for these same things I’ve just mentioned but refuse to be a giver. You don’t give your tenth, which is really all God has commanded of us. You don’t volunteer to give to others in need. You don’t give of your time to the things of God but you are always looking for God to do something in your life. Well let me enlighten you today by telling you that if you need something from the Lord, just start being a giver and watch how your life will turn around for you. In fact, as the scripture states, “The more you GIVE, the more you will RECEIVE.” To make this even more simple for you, if you have been praying for a breakthrough in your life, or for better finances, or peace in your life, just become a GIVER. A giver of your money, time and talents. You really can’t beat God’s giving. His giving goes beyond whatever you could ask or think! START GIVING TODAY!
