Jesus is the Reason for the Season

It’s a shame that I was one of the saints who was more interested in Easter clothes and Easter baskets than in the real reason why we celebrate this time of year. This season and even Christmas has been twisted around by man’s own interpretation, but you can start this season and make a difference by telling the real reason why we celebrate during this season. You can clear the thick cloud Satan has placed over this time of year by explaining what our Savior did for everyone over 2000 years ago. You can share how He left His home in Glory to die for our sins past, present and future. You can share how He was beaten and spit upon by people who were controlled by Satan. You can share how He wore a crown of thorns as a symbol of mockery as to who He was. You can share how He carried an old wooden cross to His place of death. You can share how the enemy thought he defeated the King of kings but really our Master gave up His mortal body to death. You can share how He got up from that grave with ALL power in His hands and how He has gone back to His Father to prepare a place for all who believe. You can share that He is the bread of life and the living water and to everyone who confess that He is the Christ will never hunger or thirst again because He has claimed you as one of His children. Let’s get up today and share the story of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
