Share the Good News
/When Christ saved you, He wanted you to spread His good news to others. That’s why Matthew 28:19 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.” This scripture says it all. This scripture sets the tone for our purpose while here in this sinful world. We should strive each day to teach others about Christ, motivating them to want to know more about the Savior who loves them unconditionally. The Savior who wants them to show love to others and do good works to uplift the Kingdom of God. Our purpose in this life is to encourage others to be more like Christ with each passing day. How are you doing with this task? Are you spreading the Word of God or are you silent? Are you letting your light shine for all men to see or are you hiding it under a bushel so no one can see it? Do know that when you don’t utilize the opportunity given to you to share the gospel, fewer and fewer opportunities to share the gospel will be taken away from you. God has placed in you His word, not just to strengthen you but to strengthen others, and if you are choosing to not share, you will find that your fiery light you had at the beginning of your encounter with Christ is growing dimmer and dimmer. You don’t want this light to fizzle out because you chose not to spread the gospel as stated in Matthew. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear the Savior say well done my good and faithful servant, you have done me well. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to get a diamond in your crown. As a Christian, we should all strive to witness to someone each day about this great God we serve. The reason for posting every day is because I want to be a blessing to someone. I want to be obedient to His word in Matthew. How about you, what are you doing to motivate and teach others about the Savior we serve? Don’t be caught with your work undone. Strive each day to work the work of Him who sent you while it is day because when night comes no man can work and that includes YOU!
Be blessed and be a blessing to someone today by telling them about the Savior who saves.
