Don’t Loose Focus

No matter what it looks like, no matter what people say, no matter what you hear, don’t loose focus because God’s word says,”Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth Colossians 3:2 .” God’s word says, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.” If you are going to survive what you are going through then you must look to the hills from where your help comes from. Your mind which controls what you hear, see and say must focus on God through His word. You must fill your mind with His word because “He who has focused his love on me, I will deliver him. I will protect him because he knows my name. When he calls out to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in his distress. I will deliver him, and I will honor him Psalms 91:14-15.” God’s word speaks and His word is true. When you focus on the Master then you know that

Psalms 24:1-2

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” ‭‭

“The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” The enemy is powerful, but he is not as powerful as our God. The enemy may think he is in control, but God’s word just said the earth is mine and everybody in it is mine too. When we have a powerful God like this on our side, then there is no need to fear. Just know, “If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.” Things around you may look bleak, and people maybe saying all kinds of things, but if you are in Christ you will live. You will survive. You will make it out.

So let’s refocus today and keep our eyes on the God that we put our faith in. Let’s trust Him today and know that He is in full control of everything going on around us because everything in this world including you belong to Him.
