Run Your Race With Faith
/Yesterday my post talked about stop getting entangled with the enemy because he will slow you down in this race we are running. He will put stumbling blocks in your way to throw you off or hinder your progress. He will mess up your testimony. If we allow the enemy to drive, he knows what buttons to push that easily besets us. But let’s praise God right now because regardless what the enemy can do, he is not bigger or badder than our God. Our God is greater, our God is higher than anybody. Our God is awesome in power! One thing our God has given us is love, power, a strong mind and a great cloud of witnesses. These great cloud of witnesses are people that have gone through the fire but came out not burnt. These people were victorious in the end. These were people of the Old Testament who exhibited courage and faith in the coming Messiah. They believed the Savior was coming to save the world from an eternal hell, and Christ did. Many of them died before Christ was born, but despite all that happened in their lives, they were steadfast and unmovable. Their faith and belief was strong. So the word today says regardless of what darts satan is throwing your way, you stay strong and hold on to your faith because your victory is on the way. Even if you have messed up in life like me, the trials and set backs in your life have come to make you strong. The enemy thought he had you and that you would curse God and die in your sin, but you prove him wrong by bouncing back and trusting God more than before. Not allowing how he got you the first time get you the second time. I make satan really think about what he’s going to throw my way to get me confused because my faith in God has grown stronger over the years and what shook me a few years ago doesn’t work on me now. My faith has become a bulletproof vest for the fiery darts satan is throwing my way. When I feel satan’s presence, I immediately start praying because my life is in the hands of an Almighty God, who I know now will never leave nor forsake me. I know now in my weakness, He is strong. I know now there is power in the name of Jesus. I know now there is power in prayer. I know now my God can make the impossible, possible. I know now the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I know now my God is faithful and just to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I could ever ask or think, according to the power that works in us for His glory. Just like my faith has grown, so has your faith, so people of God we must use the word of God and prayer to fight the enemy so that we can finish the race with power and not let satan’s fiery darts throw us off and hinder our walk with Jesus Christ. Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Let us finish strong!
Be blessed!
