Handling Conflict

There is a saying that says “Two wrongs don’t make it right.” This simple quote is saying if you do wrong because somebody else did wrong, you both will lose. Life is too short for such foolishness. As Christians, our life should resemble the Christ we say we love. There were many people who did Christ wrong, but He loved them anyway. He always took an opportunity to teach a lesson when people were out to destroy Him. Some people listened and were helped but others just dismissed that lesson and will now spend the rest of their eternal life in hell. So the way Christ dealt with people should be our example. Never take the low road but always find an opportunity to demonstrate the Christ that lives in you. If people don’t receive your words of wisdom or gesture of kindness, just do as the Word of God says for people who are bull headed, “ If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.” Matthew 10:14 In other words, don’t worry about it as long as you have done your part in all sincerity. As the Word of God says today, don’t do evil for evil but strive to do good one to another.
