Never Forget
/People have a tendency to forget what God has done in their past when life is breezing by without any turbulence or when storms arise and you feel like you are about to drown. People of God we should never forget the goodness of God. We should find time to share those victorious with others so they too can be encouraged that we serve a God who listens and cares for His people. Sharing with others is one way to remember God’s goodness. When we have a praise on our lips is another way to remember of His love and kindness toward us. Unfortunately we have no problem calling the Savior when in trouble but loose our voice when it comes to remembering or just saying thank you every time we find ourselves in worship mode. We should never forget the storms in our lives because those storms are what has strengthened us in our faith and the God we serve is who brought us through that difficult time. The scripture today says REMEMBER what God has done for you and it says to meditate and talk about His Grace.
Let’s do better about witnessing to others. Let’s find the voice that was crying night and day for God’s deliverance and use it to encourage others. Let’s remember how the Lord brought you through and tell Him thank you Lord for your Mighty Power in my life last year or yesterday. Yes, just don’t thank Him for the now, but thank Him for how He saw you out of that difficult situation. Let the Savior know that you love Him with all your heart for past, present and future victories in your life. When you open your heart totally to the Lord is when you will notice less storms and more victories in your life. We can’t be half in and half out when it comes to whose side we are on. You must make a conclusive decision about the God you serve and stand up for Him at all times.
When you REMEMBER, God is pleased because He inhabits the praise of His people, and you are praising Him when you share of His love and when you remember to say thank you.
Be blessed!
