Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
Everything you need is in the Word of God. It will renew your soul and make you whole. It will open blinded eyes so they can see the Salvation of the Lord! If you don’t read it daily, you will never fully understand the way God wants us to live our life. Just going on what you hear is not good enough, that’s why I put in 2 Timothy 2:15 because it tells us that we must study God’s Word for ourselves. If you want to develop a personal relationship with God you must commune with Him through prayer and diving into His Word. Yes, it can be difficult to understand at times but when you ask Him for an interpretation of His Word, He will take the blinders off your eyes and the words will become so plain to understand. I can truly testify to that. Let me tell you this also, don’t think you can pick up His Word every now and then and understanding is going to come, it’s not going to happen. The Word today says “Study this book of instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. So everyday people of God, EVERYDAY!
