What a Friend!

What a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and grieves to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Oh what PEACE we often forfeit, oh what NEEDLESS PAIN we bear. All because we do not carry EVERYTHING to GOD in prayer. What a great hymn that tells us that we have a friend in Jesus. He is forever present as the link between us and His Father. The word of God states that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is a God that cannot lie. God sent His Son and his Son left the Holy Spirit to dwell here with us. So since they are one, the Holy Trinity, we have someone ever present to fight our battles, but the problem is that we don’t let go and let God fight our battles. We hold on to situations until we realize that we can’t fight anymore. We need to stop doing this to ourselves and start taking everything to God in prayer. Nothing is too big or too small for Him to handle. The song says oh what needless pains we bear. We go through so much unnecessary pain, when we really don’t have to. We try to fight the enemy on our own and get all bruised up in the process. We carry unnecessary wounds to our graves because we don’t rely on the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit to fight our battles for us. We also have a tendency as people to give it to Jesus but then go back and pick that situation up again. Why? If you couldn’t handle it the first time, then why are trying to wrestle with it again? You know what your problem is, it is called impatience. The Lord is not moving fast enough for you. Let me inform you of this, Christ has a reason why He is moving in the pace He is moving. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. So when you take your problem to the Lord, just leave it there and ask Him to give you strength to endure what He allows. People of God, our Father always knows best, and His timing is always the best timing. Let’s do what the Word of God says today and receive the peace that only He can give. That peace people do not understand.
Be blessed!

Exodus 14:14

“The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
