The Truth

John 8:32
“you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.””
What is this truth that will make you free? This truth is the death, burial and most importantly the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins and got up with all power in His hands and sitting on the right hand of His Father, then you are saved. This is the truth that will make you free. John 8:36 says, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” If you hold on to the Truth, you are set free from the bondage of sin and shame. There is no reason for you to go around in despair when you have been set free by the Truth. There is no reason for you to have doubts and fears when you have been set free by the Truth. There is no reason to have that feeling of rejection when you have been set free by the Truth. There is no reason for you to go around holding on to guilt when you have been set free. When Jesus went to that cross, He took with Him your sins past, present and future. He took with Him all your shame, fear, doubt, and rejection. So you need to stop giving the enemy the satisfaction of making you feel unwanted, guilty, shameful, or rejected. You have the Lord on your side and He is always there, no matter what it feels like, He is there with you because He made a promise to never leave nor forsake you and He is a God that cannot lie. Jesus was given the authority to reign over your life and keep you safe from the enemies lies. When you chose Christ, you chose His protection over your life. So walk this earth with the authority that you have been covered by the blood of the Lamb. Walk this earth with confidence that you have a Savior that NEVER slumbers or sleeps and He has everything in your life under control. You are free children of God, so act like it!
