The Power of Patience

Isaiah 40:31

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

The word today is trust. Do you really trust the Lord with everything or are you just demonstrating lip service when you say I trust you Lord?  You can’t speak one way and act a different way. When you trust the Lord, He will give you His promises which He will keep as long as you continue to trust Him. The problem we have is we trust for a little while, then we go weary that God is not working fast enough, then we start fumbling and moving in our own strength. This is a problem that we need to pray on this year in 2020. We need to work on being impatient with God. He keeps His word because He cannot lie. What He say He will do, He will do. So you and I need to learn how to trust God with everything and leave it in His hands for His own timing to do what He is going to do. There is nothing impossible with God and we know it. So this year let’s pray that the Lord will help us wait on His timing so that we can be given His strength to soar above our problems and anything satan tries to throw our way. Let’s wait on God in 2020, and reap the blessings He has in store for us!
