He’s Waiting on You

James 4:8

“Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded.”

The word today says if you take one step toward the Savior, He will take 2 steps toward you. If you really want Him, then surrender your life to Him and His will for your life. He is standing at the door of your heart waiting on you to make the first step toward Him. The last part of the scripture says to make a choice. You can’t be on satan’s team and God’s team, in other words, you can’t be a double minded Christian. You must choose. We have Christians today who profess Christianity but refuse to give up sin that they know goes against God and what He has ordained for their life. When you come to Christ the scripture says old things are past away and behold all things are become new, meaning that those bad habits and sinful things you use to do will soon past away and you will gain new ways of doing things. So yes, if you keep your hands in the Master’s hands, He will replace your sinful ways with His ways. My thoughts goes back to the word double minded, if you are double minded, it means you are trying to do it your way and God’s way and that cannot happen if you want to receive the blessings of God. You must deny self and relinquish your will to His will for your life. If you do it God’s way, He will give you that desire you are trying to hang onto the wrong way. Please know that you will NEVER please God doing things against His will. If you want His blessings in your life, then surrender ALL to Him and finally see all that He has for you.

Draw close to God and He will pick you up, turn you around and place your feet in the right direction toward eternal life with Him.
