Nothing Can Separate You from the Love of God
/When I say nothing will separate me from the love of God, I mean nothing! Not my husband, my children, my job, my siblings, co-workers, absolutely nothing. God has been too good to me, for me to let go of His hand of grace, His mercy, His protection.
This scripture is powerful in itself and we say it all the time but as soon as a rift hits our life we fall a part. We start doubting the God we serve. We start allowing the wrong people to get in our ear and confuse us more than we already are. When rifts come is not the time to separate from God, but it is the time to grow closer to God. It’s the time to draw near to Him so He can draw near to you. So trials and tribulations should not pull you away because that is the “nothing” that this scripture is talking about. Your children giving you grief is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about. Sickness is the “nothin the scripture is talking about. Your spouse cheating or going up fools hill is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about. Loosing your job is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about. Having multiple miscarriages is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about. Waiting for the fruit of the womb that still has not come is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about. Things getting worse and not better is the “nothing” the scripture is talking about.
I’ve learned that no matter what is going on or not going on in my life, I must stay close to the one and only Prince of Peace, King of kings, Redeemer of my soul, Savior, Deliverer, Way Maker, Heart Fixer, Mary’s Baby, God’s Son, Mighty in battle, The Great I Am, because my life would be nothing without Him. I need Him everyday no matter what. I trust Him with my whole heart! What about YOU?!
