Is Your Living in Vain?

Jeremiah 17:10

“I, the Lord, search the heart,

I test the mind,

Even to give every man according to his ways,

According to the fruit of his doings.”

I don’t know about you, I’m so glad my fate is not in the hands of man, but in the hands of a Sovereign God. It is God who has the final say in our lives. He knows who is really on His side and who is faking and making a lot of noise that is all emotional and means nothing. In the word of God it says, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” So if you know someone who fits into this category, don’t worry about it because God has said all they are doing is worth nothing if they truly do not poses the love of God in their heart. If you are rolling around speaking Jesus but do not have the love of God in your heart then your living is in vain and your effort and energy is nothing but noise to the Father.  So make sure your heart is with the Father. If it is , then don’t worry about what man says, just keep living your life for Christ. In the end you will be able to hear Him say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.” These words coming from my Father will be all I need to hear because then I will know that my living was not in vain and He accepted what I did for His Glory. Don’t waste your energy thinking about what people think, just keep your focus on the Savior and what He thinks of you.
