Psalms 68:19

“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, The God of our salvation! Selah”

Many of you today are very worried about what is in store for your future.  I don’t have that answer, but I do know who holds my future and no matter what is going on around me, my trust is in the God who bears my burdens. He has said in His word, “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” He makes whatever we are going through bearable. He gives His children strength to sustain through the challenges. Don’t you know that He knew about everything happening now in your life and has made provisions for you to stand even in the midst of this storm. You might ask, what provisions, because I don’t have a job right now. What provisions, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to keep food in my house for my children. What provisions because I don’t know if I can pay my bills next month. Yes, I know you have lost your job. He knew that was going to happen and He has made provisions for that because His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He knew health issues would be running rapid, but you are still here and not sick, that’s Him covering you because His yoke is easy and His burden is light. He knew some of you might only have one income coming into your household, but you are making it and will continue to make it if you don’t loose your trust in the this Great God who has said My yoke is easy and my burden is light.

I thank Him every day for His sustaining Grace and unbelievable Mercy. He has said in His word that He will never leave nor forsake His children, and I am holding Him to that by not doubting Him. Join my faith to your faith knowing that He has everything as it pertains to our lives under control. Thank Him today for carrying your burden of lack. Thank Him for carrying your burden of uncertainty. Thank Him for carrying your burden of anxiety. Yes, thank Him today because despite what it looks like in the physical rim, God’s got it all under control.

There maybe someone reading this post and you don’t share this same confidence I have in God. My thoughts to you is have you totally given your life to Him to carry, or are you one who has been doing everything in your own strength?  If that’s you, then today is a mighty good day to give your life to Christ. Right now where you are tell Christ that you are a sinner. Tell Him that now you want to stop doing things in your own power but want to give your life to Him. Tell Him that you believe that He died and rose for you so you could have eternal life with Him. Tell Him that you surrender everything to Him and want to start today building a relationship with Him. If you say and believe these words, then you have just given your life to Christ and now you are in His care. So now join your faith to my faith and know that whatever situation we are in, He is bearing that burden and will take care of us in His time. Just trust Him and don’t doubt His Amazing Power.
