Take Action

Matthew 5:6

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they shall be filled.”

If you truly desire to have a closer relationship with our Savior, then you must pray for it and take the steps necessary to build your relationship with Him. The word of God says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

To build the relationship you desire, you must have faith in who He is and you must take steps that put you in His presence. Steps like praying, going to Bible class, reading and praying over His word for your life. You must position yourself around people that have the same desire as you, so you can encourage each other as you strive to have a closer walk with the Savior. These steps I’ve mentioned are important if you truly thirst after His righteousness. Have you heard of if you make one step, He will make two? If you take the steps that move you toward Him, He will bless you and fill you with His wisdom and knowledge. You will feel His presence that you seek after. He will consume you like fire and your life will never be the same. He will guide you around obstacles and through the valley of death. There will be no need to fear like you’ve done in the past because He is with you, His rod a staff comforts you. Why? Because you have made the steps to feed your desire for His righteousness, and for this move, He will fill you with His presence and give you the desires and needs you seek after.

So don’t just say you want a closer relationship with the Savior, take action and watch the move of God in your life.
