Be Still & Listen

In the midst of the chaos going on around you, it is best to be silent because God is trying to tell you something. He wants you to know that He is God. There is nothing you are experiencing that He doesn’t know about. He just wants you to be still and know that He is the way the truth and the light. He wants you to be patient and stop doing things in your own power and start doing things in His power. He wants you to stop and bow down and worship Him. The creator of all things is trying to capture your attention so He can give you His will for your life. When you are quiet, He can give you clarity about what He wants you to do for His glory.

Psalms 46:10

“Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!”

When you are quiet, He is able to prevent you from making wrong choices. When you are quiet, He is able to pour His wisdom and knowledge into you. When you are quiet, then His voice can be heard. Once He has your undivided attention, He will stop the chaos and allow you to experience His joy and peace. He will allow you to experience His unveiling love. He will allow you to experience life under His covering. Today God is speaking so be still and listen.
