The Perfect Example

The way Christ lived while on earth was the perfect example of how we should live our life. No matter how many times the Pharisees or Sadducees tried to make Him sin against His Father, He always prevailed. He prevailed because He knew what they were trying to do each time they addressed Him. He knew His purpose and He never deviated from the path He was assigned. He remained calm and humble throughout His 33 years on this earth. He knew His assignment was to seek, teach and lead the people to His Father in Heaven. He knew He was to serve man and give His life so men would have a chance of living eternity with Him and His Father.

Matthew 20:28

“just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.””

Once again His life is a perfect example of what our life should be like. When we said yes to the Son of God, we should take up His qualities of not allowing people to set us up to sin against Him and His Father in Heaven. We should seek Him for His purpose for our life. We should know that our assignment is to seek, teach and lead others to Christ. We should strive to be humble and not prideful. We should always find opportunities to serve others instead of being served, and sacrifice our own personal needs for the needs of others. If you don’t know it by now, then let me enlighten you. When you take care of God’s business, He will take care of your business. Let’s strive as believers to follow the life of Christ, our perfect example.
