Give Your Burdens to the Lord
/The word today says to take your burdens to the Lord and He will take care of you. So if the Lord has said to bring to Him what so easily besets us, worries us, then why are you still holding on to that thing that has you balled up in knots? Do you think you can do a better job than the Lord? Do you not trust Him to fight your battles? Do you not believe Him when He says, “Cast all your cares on me, for I care for you? “ Why are you holding on to what you can’t handle? Is it your pride? The word of God talks about pride comes right before a fall. Do you like falling from His grace? What is the problem my sisters and brothers? We are to take everything, not somethings, to the Lord in prayer and let Him handle it for you in His own timing. I think the words “in His own timing” is what throws people into a frenzy. People like us are so impatient. We can’t wait on the Lord. We want things to happen right now at this very moment, and that is not how the Lord operates. What I have found out over the years is that His timing is the best timing. When we wait on Him and allow Him to do what is best for us, we come out stronger, and wiser than before. The word of God says, “They that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings of eagles, they will run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and NOT faint.” If we wait on the Master, things will work out for our good and we want have to deal with it again, at least not in the same way. You see sometimes things don’t fully go away because God does not see fit to take that thorn out of our life, but He does give us renewed strength to handle it in His way and many times in a different way.
At the end of the day, we must learn to take our burdens to the Lord and leave them with Him to handle it or give us grace to handle it like He would. We must trust Him and not doubt Him. We must know that all things will work together for our good. We must trust the Lord will take care of our situation because He loves us who are the called according to His purpose.
