You Are Blessed

Child of God, you are blessed. You are blessed because you seek the Lord’s face diligently everyday. You are blessed because you strive to obey His commandments. You are blessed because you study to show yourself approved unto God, you are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, rightly dividing the word of truth. You are blessed and highly favored because have learned to trust God and follow His will for your life. You are blessed because you have learned to depend on God with your whole heart. You are blessed because you have learned to lean not on your own understanding but in all your ways acknowledge The Savior to direct your path. You are blessed because you have learned to let the Lord fight your battles. You are blessed because you know you can’t make it without the Lord on your side. You are blessed because you have surrendered all to Jesus and to Him you freely give. 

Psalms 119:2

“Blessed are those who keep his statutes and seek him with all their heart—”

Today I have repeatedly stated that you are blessed but did you notice the reason why you are a blessed child of God?  Did I mention anything about you are perfect? Did I say anything about how much you give in church? Did I mention how much you work in the church? Did I mention how much you give to charity? No, I did not mention any of these things, not because they are not important but because God blesses those whose focus is totally on Him. He blesses those whose mind is on Him. He blesses those who are walking according to the ways of the Lord. He blesses those who keeps His statutes and seeks Him with their whole heart. So if you want the blessings of God, then I suggest you make your life all about Him!
