Who Do You Trust
/Who do you trust? Is it man? Maybe you trust your job or your bank because it has your money. Who do you trust? Well my trust everyday is in none other than the Father. He is the only one who has never failed me. He is the only one who has never disappointed me. I rest under His protection of me and my family everyday, all day. If I even dare to move from under His covering, I’ve gotten burned really bad. When I am not following His will for my life, things start falling a part. As an old song says, “I’ve learned to live holy, I’ve learned to live right, I’ve learned if I suffer, I’ll gain eternal life. The last part of the song throws people off because they say if you are under His covering then why are you suffering? I am here to tell you that yes on this Christian walk, you will go through hard times because He never promised we wouldn’t suffer. He just promised that He will NEVER leave nor forsake us. He promised,” Lo I am with you ALWAYS even unto the ends of the age.” These are two of His many promises. So I’ve even learned that if I stay under His shelter, even when the winds blow and knock me down, as long as I trust and believe in His promises for me, I’ll gain eternal life. Yes, my living will not be in vain. My question again to you is who do you trust?
If your hope and trust is built on nothingness, then I will admonish you to join us who have a Father who will never let you down. A Father who is closer than a brother or sister. A Father who sits high but looks low on all His children. A Father who is a lawyer in a courtroom. A Father who is the great physician. A Father who will walk with you but most of the time carry you through your storms. A Father who is a heart fixer and a mind regulator. A Father who will provide for you. A Father who knows best and has your best interest at the forefront of His mind. It is hard to believe sometimes that this great God we serve knows my name and cares for me. Who wouldn’t want to trust a Father who has you covered on all sides if you lean not to your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him so He can direct your path? I know I trust the Father all the way because I know He will never let me down. Man will disappoint you and let you down but not God. He is everything you need and more. I ask you to trust Him today with your whole life. Trust Him today with your family. Everything will be alright as long as you trust and stay under the shelter of the Most High.
