Count It All Joy

James 1: 2-3

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.”

Have you heard of be happy in season and out of season? James in this scripture is saying, no matter what trials you may endure, keep a smile on your face.  How can we keep a smile when we are in difficult times? The reason we should count it all joy is because we are never alone. The path may look dismal and confusing but no matter what, the Master is with us. If He is with you then you can breath easier because just like the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace, you know what you are going through may seem hard but the Master is there walking right in the midst. You know that this too will past. You know trials come to make you strong. You know this trial is not until death. You know that if you keep your hand in the Master’s hand , everything will be alright. So since everything will be alright, then you must be prayerful in asking God what is it that you want me to learn from this trial? You must be patient knowing that there is a purpose for all things and you need to find your purpose in the midst of your storm. You must be persistent, keep pressing your way through and don’t give up because there is a brighter day ahead that is waiting on you. You must continue to praise this Great God we serve because you know greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. You know there is victory in Jesus. You know you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You know this is a test of your faith and because God brought you out of one situation with not one hair on your head burnt, you know He can do it again. You can praise Him because your reward is not on this earth but it is in Heaven. You can keep praising Him because you know joy will come in the morning.  So children of God don’t let the enemy see you sweat. Trust the Almighty God and know that you will be just fine as long as the Master is right by your side.
