Stand Firm in God

1 Corinthians 15:58

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

When you gave your life to Christ, I hope no one told you it was going to be easy sailing. If they did, I’m here to tell you the real truth. The moment you said yes to Christ is the moment satan became your worst enemy. With him on your trail is what makes this journey hard. But be encouraged today because no matter what satan throws your way, our Savior has your back. So like the scripture has stated, YOU need to be steadfast, this means don’t be wishy washy, if you are in then be all in with Christ. Don’t be persuaded by the lies satan tells you. YOU need to be unmovable, meaning can the Lord depend on you? Can you be counted among the faithful? Do you have your spiritual antennas up at all times, waiting to hear the Holy Spirit when He speaks and tells you how to not get trapped with your back against the wall. The Holy Spirit is your navigator, but if you are not listening, satan can do what he wants to do to you and you will end up with your back to the wall and only God’s mercy can get you out. But if you were listening from the beginning then you would have stood firm when satan came your way. You would have been able to say like Christ, get thee behind me satan, I will not be moved. YOU would not have time for foolishness but always being available for what God has for you to do in His Kingdom. YOU would be able to take comfort in knowing that what you are doing on earth for the Kingdom will not go unnoticed. YOU would know that your walk with Christ would not go unnoticed and you will be blessed beyond what you could ask or think.  Our God is faithful to you but are you faithful to Him? Can He count on you? Are you rooted deep into His Word? If not, today is the day to take up your cross and follow Him even though that cross you are carrying is very hard. Do know that if you stay the course, that cross will get lighter and lighter.
