Choose Him

Proverbs 13:6

“Righteousness guards him whose way is blameless,

But wickedness overthrows the sinner.”

If you truly trust God, He will wrap His arms around you and lead you on this journey of life. If you give up your will for His Will, He will never leave you or forsake you. He will lead you in the path of righteousness for His name sake.  If you are obeying His Will, He will keep you from falling. He will lead you around those stumbling blocks in your life. If you are all in for Christ, He will show you favor and pour you out more blessings than you could ever receive.

So, if Christ will do these things for us, why do we fail Him? Why do we turn our back on Him when things don’t go our way? One thing is sure, He never said we would not go through storms, but He did say He would never leave you nor forsake you. When you allow satan to enter your mind, you start going in the opposite direction God wants you to go. You start thinking thoughts that are not Christ thoughts at all. You start hanging around the wrong group of people who will influence you more to go in the opposite direction of Christ. Why choose the side of captivity when there is freedom in Jesus Christ? Why choose darkness when you have been chosen to be the light and salt of this sinful world? Why choose the side where your eternal home is a place of burning when you could have an eternal home in Heaven where there is no more suffering? Why would you choose suffering over peace, hate over love, misery over joy, doubt over hope? Why would you choose evil over Godliness. Why??

Choose the Kingdom today, it’s not too late to get your life right with Christ and set your foot on the Solid Rock of your salvation. Thank God it’s not too late to get it right because He is a God of a second chance! Praise the Master today and get your life in-line with His Will.
