His Perfect Will

Psalms 143:10

“Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Your Spirit is good.

Lead me in the land of uprightness.”

Now this is my daily prayer. I want to walk in God’s will for my life and not my own will. I’ve learned through my walk with Christ that life is better when you are doing what He has purposed you to do. Many times we struggle in this life we live because we are trying to walk in our own will. We don’t listen to His calling in our lives. We don’t seek Him before we act, usually we start talking to the Father after we have gotten ourselves in a pickle jar and can’t retract what has happened. If we would have consulted Him first, then life would have went in a totally different direction, and we would have missed the stress and pain we are carrying because of our own decision. The word of God states for us to seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness. This should always be our first move. We should consult the Father through prayer and supplication, then we would reap the latter part of the scripture that states, and all other things will be added unto you through Christ Jesus. If we would learn to follow His lead for our lives, then we would see and experience more joy, and peace. If you are in a state of stress and anxiety in your life, then I suggest you stop and seek the Lord’s will for your life. Now when you are looking for an answer, don’t be impatient, but humble yourself and wait on His answer. There is an old saying that states, “He may not come when you want Him, but He’s right on time.” If you truly want His guidance in your life, then sit down and pray for His direction for your life. Walking in God’s will for your life is so rewarding.
