Lift Your Head

How are feeling today? Is your countenance down? Are you feeling sad? Well, I am here to encourage you that everything will be alright because the God you and I serve is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above whatever you could ask or think. He knows your situation and He is there to turn it around for you if you let Him. So take your hand off the wheel and let our Mighty Savior drive for you. Let Him take away your sadness. Let Him encourage you through His word. Let Him uplift your countenance.

Psalms 42:11

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

He can do it because He is the God of Hope. He is the God of restoration. He is the God of love. He is the God of joy. He is a provider, a burden barrier, a heart fixer, a soul saver,  a mind regulator, a protector. He is everything we need and more.

So there is no need to be down casted when you have this great God on your side. All your hope and desire should be in the one and only God who can make your impossible possible. David said it quite well when he said, “I will put my Hope in God!” “I will praise Him again - my Savior and my God!” So lift up your head today and trust this great God because He is worthy of your praise and adoration!
