False Saints

1 John 2:6

“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”

Amen to the word of God today! We have too many Christians who claim the Master with their lips but dismiss Him in their everyday life. The question today is how can you pray to the Savior for guidance and favor but live a life that is totally contrast to His will? Believe it or not, we have many people doing this everyday. Let me give you this scenario; What if you had a so called friend that talked about you behind your back. Every chance they got, they would stab you in your back but with their same lips come asking you for help. You would probably become so angry to think how could they ask you for anything and stab you in the back all at the same time. This is the way we treat our Savior. We say Lord, Lord with our mouth and use that same mouth to dismiss everything we know He does not like. I’m so glad we serve a Sovereign God because we would be in a bad place if He decided to close His ears to our many request. What I don’t understand is how can people knowingly sin against Him, I mean you know what you are doing is going against His truth but you do it anyway. Then continue asking Him for favors in your life.  I say you need to stop this foolishness today while you have time. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, so today is a good day to start walking in the path of righteousness. First, repent of your wrong doing and ask God to help you get your life back on the right track. Then start walking in His direction, please know that the enemy is not going to leave you alone, he is going to make this step you made very hard to maintain. Let me encourage you to keep pressing toward the mark of the high calling in your life, knowing that even though it is hard now the reward is going to be so much better. You will never regret following the Savior’s plan for your life. In Him is where your hope is. In Him is where your joy, peace, financial stability, and true love is. Don’t let this verse fall on deaf ears today. Listen to what the verse is saying, if you are His, then be an example of the Most High King! In other words, if you are speaking truth to everybody else, then live what you are preaching about. Don’t be the one in the end that the Lord will say depart from me false “aint”, people thought to be a saint, because I don’t know you.
