The Armor of God
/You must always remember that when you put on the whole armor of God. You put on your loins girdle with truth, because the truth will set you free. You put on the breastplate of righteousness because when you do right, you come out right. You put on the shoes of peace because He wants us to be peacemakers, not peace breakers. You put on the shield of faith because faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. You put on the helmet of salvation because you are now a child of the King. You put on the sword of the Spirit because when you allow the Holy Spirit that dwells in you, lead and guide you, He will guard you from those stumbling blocks that have been placed in your path to make you fail. When you put on that whole armor of God, He became your fortress in the time of trouble. He became your protector in the midst of a storm. He became your defender in the presence of your enemy. He became your rock in a weary land. He became your lifeline that can hide you in His secret place, and sat you upon a rock that covers you in His Grace and Mercy. He can now help you fight off the fiery darts of the enemy. Now that you are on His side, no weapon formed against you will ever prosper. Whatever hole someone is digging for you, they might as well dig two, because the Lord will condemn them for you. You don’t need to fight your battle because He will fight your battle if you take your hands off and give that situation ALL to Him. When you said yes to the Father, you became heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings, in order that we may also share in His glory (Romans 8:17). So don’t you worry about what the enemy is trying to do to you but keep pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Knowing that He sits high and looks low and He has everything that pertains to your life under control. You just have to continue to trust and never doubt Him no matter what!
Be blessed!
