Godly Discipline

When you are disciplined by God, you should really count it all joy because if He is chastising you, then you are His child for sure, because God only chastises those He loves. Now I know this sounds crazy, because who likes to get chastised? No one really, but I rather have God on my trail than satan. I know when God chastises me, He does it to reprove me and create in me a clean heart so I can be used more for His Glory. His Word says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” So that scripture alone let’s me know that God will never hurt me or do me harm but He wants the best from me and He is preparing me for greater and better assignments in His Kingdom. So don’t get weary or heavy laden when God chastises you, just know weeping may endure for a night but joy surly comes in the morning. There is a song that says, “There will be joy in the morning, there will be joy in the morning. Oh child of God, cry no more, there will be joy in the morning.” Yes whatever you, who have been called according to His purpose, are going through, know that regardless of the chastisement, or difficult time you are facing now, God is there. He has said in His word that He will never leave nor forsake you and that is even when He has to give you a beat down. When you come out, you will be able to give Him glory and use your test and trial to help someone else in their faith and walk with God. Be encouraged today and trust God because through it all you will be stronger and wiser in the end.
Be blessed!

Hebrews 12:11

“Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.”
