The Holy Spirit

What a blessing it is that Christ left the Holy Spirit to dwell in us who have been called according to His purpose. The Holy Spirit’s job is to guide, to encourage, to be the voice of reason if we listen, to help us on our journey to eternal life with the Father. The Holy Spirit shows us how to have love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and long suffering. These qualities will strengthen you as you walk in the will of God for your life. John 16:13 says, “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. The Holy Spirit can keep you out of harms way, if you listen. Many times we grieve the Holy Spirit because that carnality in you does not want to submit to the Holy Spirit and let Him have reign in your life. We need to always say not my will oh God, but thine will be done now and forever more. Are you relying on the Holy Spirit that dwells within you, or have you tuned out the Holy Spirit?
Be blessed!

Romans 8:26

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanidngs which cannot be uttered.”
