Why Praise Him?

Jeremiah 17:14

“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”

I will praise the Lord all the days of my life! Why, you ask? Because He created me to worship Him. He is my leaning post. He has never let me down. He keeps on making a way for me and my family. Why praise Him, you ask? He has blessed me more times than I can number. He is my Protector and the Deliverer of my soul. He chose me to be a servant in His Kingdom! He has taught me that good things comes to those who wait on His timing and not theirs. Why praise Him, you ask? He is the gate keeper, that keeps the enemy at bay. He is the reason I am alive today. He is the reason I can lift my voice in acclamation of who He is. He is my vindicator and the Savior of the world. He is the King of Glory, strong and mighty in battle!  Why praise the King of kings you ask? Because the Bible commands it Psalms 150:6. Praise facilitates access to God Psalms 100:4. Praise is where God lives Psalms 22:3. Praise promotes productivity Psalms 17:5-6. Praise chases away despair Isaiah 61:3. Praise is an effective weapon against the enemy Isaiah 14. Why praise Him, you ask? God is worth it ! Psalms 145:3 says, “Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; His greatness is unsearchable.” At the end of our verse today, Jeremiah says, “You are my praise!” So you tell me why do you praise the Lord.
