The Wise & The Foolish
/Would you rather Jesus think of you as WISE or a FOOL as stated in Matthew 7:26? I would choose wise any day of the week. To be considered wise the Lord said you hear His words and obey. In other words you reverence who the Master is and trust His will for your life. You know His ways are not your ways and His thoughts are not your thoughts, but you stand firm on your faith and believe that ALL things work together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Now if you want to be called a FOOL by the Master then keep doing what feels and sounds good to you. Keep thinking you are smarter than the Master and since He allows permissive will, you will go ahead and do it your way rather than His way. Keep on living a lie and think you are getting away with it. You, who the Lord says are foolish will be dealt with harshly if you are one on His children. If not, then know that He doesn’t care what you do.
In Matthew 7:26, Jesus states the foolish man who has built his house on sand will find out that his house will not stand very long. Life around you will start crumbling brick by brick and when it is all said and done you will repent and come back to the Father seeking His will for your life. You realize now that you should have been wise and listened the first time.
So once again, would you rather be seen as WISE or as a FOOL?
Be blessed!
