Jesus is the Only Way

There is no way to God the Father except through God the Son. The Father sent God the Son to earth to do two things and that was to spread the Good News and die on the cross for sins past, present and future of those  who have accepted God the Father and God the Son into their hearts.  He was sent to be the pathway to His Father and the Light of this world. When He left, He left God the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and be our guide until He returns. Have you ever noticed that people of faith will always say in Jesus name, amen in their prayer?  The reason we end our prayer this way is because we know the Son was sent to be the bridge to the Father on our behalf. 

Hebrews 7:25

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

When Jesus was on earth,  He clearly stated that I am the Way, I am  the Truth and the Life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)  There is no other way to Salvation until you accept the Son into your life. Now when you accept Him into your life, sin is suppose to get lesser and lesser in your life.  You are suppose to start hating what God hates and loving what God loves. You are suppose to start building your relationship with the Father through His Son by reading  His word, prayer, praise, worship, giving  and service. These are ways of building that personal relationship with God the Father through God the Son.

How are you doing with hating what God hates, or loving the things of God or building your personal relationship with Him? Don't worry if you are not at a 100%, we will never be at a 100% because of our sinful nature, but for sure you should be striving every day to be more like Him. Are YOU striving or are YOU always lukewarm, meaning trying to  live worldly and as a believer!? If you are,  I say you need to re-evaluateyour life and make the necessary changes to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
