Your Plan vs His Plan
/It is truly a blessing that even though we are sinners, the Father hears us when we call. The word of God today says if we ask according to His Will, He hears us. When I read this scripture, my eyes went to the part that says “His Will.” You might wonder why certain things you have prayed for has yet come to pass. Well, it is because it is not in His Will at this time. I say at this time because He has a time for everything and He always answers our prayers at the right time, but it is important for you to know that if that prayer you have prayed never comes to be, then it was not in His will for you.
Now don’t start feeling like God has left you, that is quite the opposite. Count it all joy that He knows you and knows your needs and wants before you even ask. Count it all joy that He knows your past, present and future, and He knows if that which you have asked for will bless you or curse you. Do know that the Father has your best interest at heart and He wants nothing but the best for you and from you.
Another thing you must be aware of is your time with Him. Do you only have time for Him when you need something? If this is your case, then that’s why your prayers have not been answered. You have not committed your life fully to the Master. You are slipping and sliding your way around Him. He cannot count on you to give like you are suppose to give. He cannot count on you to serve like you are suppose to serve. He cannot count on you for nothing unless you want something from Him. Do you think this is right? Do know that you might be able to fool some of the people some of the time, but you can never fool God. He knows if you are fully committed to Him.
So today let’s remember if we are seeking something from the Lord and it has yet come to pass then we must first see if what we ask is in His Will and secondly we must check our commitment to Him. Can He count you as one of His faithful servants who is seeking His face everyday? Can He say that you are a servant who loves what He loves and hates what He hates? Let’s learn to check ourselves and always pray in His Will.
