Jesus is the Reason...

Would you like to know why I share the word of God with others? Would you like to know what motivates me to be a giver and not a taker? Would you like to know  why I care about what people are going through? The answer is Jesus. Jesus is the reason I share the word of God. His word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathway and I will hide His word in my heart, so I may not sin against God.

Galatians 2:20

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Jesus is what motivates me to be a giver and not a taker. He gave His life for me so I would have a choice to choose Him and live eternally with Him and His Father. So I too must give sacrificially without looking for anything in return. I must work the work of Him who sent me while it is day because when night comes no man can work. It doesn’t matter if people don’t understand me or why I do the things I do. It only matters if the Lord said do it, I must do it.

Jesus is the reason I care about what people are going through. We can cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7. He cared enough of me to scoop me up, so I must look past my needs and try hard to see the needs of others. My life has no meaning or purpose without Christ. Life is worth the living just because the Savior lives! There is no me without Christ. I gave up me and accepted Him into my life and now it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.  Why did you choose Jesus Christ? Please share!
