Whom He Sets Free
/The day you said yes to Christ, was the day He set you free. Free to live a life that pleases Him. Free to say I once was lost, but you found me. Free to say I am a sinner saved by the precious blood of Jesus. So why do we keep entangling ourselves in things that stifles our growth with the Lord? It’s our sinful nature that keeps us entangled in things that we know the Lord our God hates. That’s why it is so important that we focus our eyes on the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. That is why we must stay in the word of God.
Galatians 5:1
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
There is power in knowledge in the secular world, but there is a greater power in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. If you surround yourself with the knowledge from the Bible, then you wouldn’t allow satan to beat you down at every chance he gets. You would be able to stand strong with God’s word and say I have overcome through Jesus Christ. But if you don’t equip yourself with the word of God, then the enemy will get you to do things that you know God hates like fornication, back bitting, gossiping, pride, shedding innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, lying and cheating to the government. I don’t know why you allow satan to get you to do this every year on your taxes when you know the word of God specifically tells us how we win in the finance area of our life’s. The Lord clearly tells us to pay unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God. We who have been set free do the opposite and then wonder why we can’t get ahead in life financially. YOU are the reason why YOU can’t be truly free. I am not sure why I spent time on that subject, but he that have an ear, please hear what the Lord says in His word as it pertains to your finances because cheating will get you nowhere, but being a giver will bless you unmeasurably.
The scripture today reminds us that whom the Lord sets free, is free indeed so stop allowing the enemy to keep you away from all that our Father has for you. If you would work on getting you out the way, then God can show you what true freedom looks like and feels like. It is an awesome experience when you take hold and live by the word of God. You would know that you are the head and not the tail. You would know that you should be the lender and not the borrower. You would know that no matter what it looks like,all things work together for those who love the Lord God and are called according to His purpose. You would know that he that believeth in the Master will have eternal life. You would know that you must work the work of Him who made you right now because tomorrow might be too late. You would know greater is “The He” that is in you than “the he” that is in the world. You would know that no weapon formed against you will prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment “You”shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. You would know that you do not and should not get yourself entangled with sin because Christ has given you authority to stand your ground in the liberty wherewith He has made you free.
