Stand Out

When the world sees you, do they know whose side you are on?  Can they distinguish you apart from the world or do you try to blend in? As a child of the Most High King, you have been set a part for a purpose in the Kingdom. God didn't bring you out of darkness to blend in with the world. We are in the world by default, but not of the world as stated in John 15:19, "If you belonged to the world, the world would love you as one of its own. But because you do not belong to the world and I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you." Since you know these things, how is your life different? 

Colossians 3:17

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Right now while you are reading this post, think about your life. Do people identify you as a person who knows Jesus and has a personal relationship with Him or are you identified as a person who knows OF Jesus? You see, the world knows OF Jesus but the world has no personal relationship with Jesus. When people see you, they should automatically see you are different. The world should say they don't know what it is about you but you act different, you talk different, you handle situations differently, you have a peace about you that they  would love to have. This is what people should say when they have an encounter with you.  The Word of God says, whatever you DO or SAY should be a representation of Jesus Christ. Are you living this scripture?
