Show Love

The word love only has four letters but it is a very powerful word. The Bible reference the word love in numerous places. In this verse it states that love covers sin. This is true because Christ dying on that cross for us was a sign of love. His death and resurrection covered our sin past, present and future.  In 1 Corinthians 13:13 it states that out of faith, hope and love, love is the greater of them all. The reason God gave His only son was because of love. John 3:16 starts out by saying, “For God so loved the world......”  John 4:7-8 tells us to love one another because love comes from God. 1 John 4:16 says, “ .........whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” Psalms 85:15 says, “.......we should abound in love and faithfulness.”  The word love is a small 4 letter word, but it is a powerful word.

1 Peter 4:8

“ And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

We as believers should allow love to drive what we do and say. If we would allow love to drive our actions then we would never say no to the things of God. We would find ourselves being patient with people because love would be our driving force. We would give more to the things of God. We would witness more about the things God has done for us. We would not be caught with our work undone because love would be our driving force. How much love do you have in your heart?  Do you show it in your actions? If not, then you need to pray for the love of God to engulf your thinking and your actions. God loves you so much that He made a covenant of love to you that if you keep His commandments , He will remain faithful to you. Show LOVE!
