Trust Him Alone

Trust Him Alone

“Have you ever faced disappointment in any area of your life? Someone promised you heaven and earth, but failed to fulfill those promises for one reason or the other, or whether he did that intentional or unintentional? Whatever the case may be, you were once been jilted, disappointed, failed, faced insecurity, neglected or probably been abused. There is a Savior I want to introduce you to or remind you of that never fails in all ways.”

Praise Awaits You

Praise Awaits You

“The psalmist recognizes that there are many things to be thankful for. For the rain, for the animals, for food, for shelter, even for forgiving us when we transgress. These ways and many more, God has shown forth his glory, his power, his mightiness, and his awesomeness in all areas. Even things that are not pleasant, they are worth to be thankful for because God allows it for a purpose beyond us.“

Consuming Fire

Consuming Fire

“The Israelites faced a great challenge of their lives. They were led into something that is bigger than them. With the description of the nations, the Israelites were to meet and battle with they who cannot stand them. The city is mighty, and the descendants of Anak are powerful, great and tall. What they need is faith and strength of the Lord. God commanded them to do something that was beyond their strength, their knowledge or wisdom. Why? To let them know that they serve the all-consuming fire.”

Perfect Confidence in God

Philippians 1:6

"And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns."

Paul was very optimistic and confident of what God can do in the lives of the Philippians, as an individual and the Church, in return, for their services to God and joining him as business partners of the gospel since the day they believed in Christ Jesus. He prayed and assured them that the 'good work' of salvation that God began in them will be perfected until Christ return. Paul was confidence to say this because he knew that whatever God begins he finishes it.

Paul is speaking to believers today that the good work of justification, sanctification, and glorification that God has began in us will be a continuous process in Him and in sharing the gospel with others. This is the confidence we have in Him, that God who has been sustaining us will definitely keep us until the very end.

Therefore, we do not need to be discouraged of whatever we do now that is not fruitful or not coming forth as we want it. Faithful is our God who will surely perfect whatever he begins. Be focused, press on, and be hopeful that all you do for the gospel will not be in vain. Amen

Fasting to Feasting

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth months will become joyful and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.”

Zechariah 8:19

““Thus says the LORD of hosts: ‘The fast of the fourth month, The fast of the fifth, The fast of the seventh, And the fast of the tenth, Shall be joy and gladness and cheerful feasts For the house of Judah. Therefore love truth and peace.’”

Our God is awesome! He does his things in a wonderful and unquestionable way. No one can fathom His wondrous deeds. He specializes in turning despair into abundance, ashes into beauty, horrible to incredible, sadness into joy and wories intoto peace.

That is exactly what God promised His people, turning their mourning into joy and gladness. These people were confronted with hopelessness, weeping and fasting, serving and suffering in a foreign land. But the Lord of restoration came to their rescue and turned their fasts into a feast, a happy festival. What is God telling you? Your fasts regardless of number of days, months, and years shall become joyful and glad occasions in this tenth month in Jesus name.

Amen

I Will Finish Well

I Will Finish Well

“Paul equates the world runners to the Christian race. As many people that compete in running, just only one person receives an award that will not last. But Christians are so blessed that as many that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, walk in and with Him daily, obeying His commandment and running the race of the heavenly kingdom are qualified to win the race and receive the everlasting crown. “
