“You have come too far to turn around now. Many of us go through the ups and downs of life and sometimes while on that journey we start letting go of the Master’s hands. I’m here to tell you that the race of life is not given to the swift nor the strong but to the one who endures to the end. (Ecclesiastes 9:11) So I’m here to tell you, don’t stop running your race because life is hard and complicated. If you have given your life to Christ, then know that He is there with you. You ask, “How do I know?” I know because…”

“What does walking by faith mean? If you walk by faith, that means you trust or believe in something without seeing it with your physical eyes. In the spiritual realm, faith is the substance (the heart of Christianity: the death, burial, resurrection of Jesus whom we have not seen) of things (whatever) hoped (want) for; the evidence (proof) of things (whatever) not seen. “

“My sisters and brothers as we anticipate the coming Messiah, let’s look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. No matter what this world dishes out, our God is still on the throne. Don’t be dismayed whatever be tide, God has promised to take care of you.”

“My question this morning is does the Lord know you, or does He know of you? This question is usually asked in reverse, people say do you know the Savior or do you know of the Savior? There is one word difference in the middle of that question and it is the word "of". When you know a person , means you have built a relationship with them. When you know "of" someone, means you have seen them around, people have told you about them, but you DO NOT KNOW THEM PERSONALLY. So my question again is does the Lord know you or know of you? “

“If you were wondering why you have not received anything from the Lord, well it is usually one of these three reasons…”

“Do you really understand what God is saying to us in this scripture ? He is saying that you don't need to put your two cents in, unless He has given you something to say. If we learn how to have our spiritual antennas up, we would know when God is telling us to speak and when He says not to speak.”

“When we interact with people, we should exemplify how Christ dealt with people. He never dealt with people harshly except the time when He ran the people out of the temple because they were selling things in the House of God. A part from that, Christ always handled people firmly but with gentleness, compassion, kindness, patience and humility. The Word of God today says to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. These characteristics are all the ways we want to be treated by others, so why not do the same?”

‘If you are truly a child of God, then the life you live should speak for you. You cannot straddle the fence as people would say. You must choose you this day whom YOU will serve. You cannot have two Masters because the God we serve is a jealous God and He will not share His glory with any other being. Isaiah 42:8 says, “I am the Lord! That is my name! I will not share my glory with anyone else, or the praise due me with idols.” So you need to decide if you are going to be carnal minded, which is the same as speaking Christ with your mouth but your life smells foul. You can’t do both…”

“There is power in prayer. There is power in corporate prayer. When you pray, you are opening a line of communication between you and the Savior. When you pray, you began to develop that personal relationship with the Savior. In the word of God it states that He inhabits the praise of His people, and prayer is a form of praise.”

“If you really love the Lord God, then you will follow His commandments. You would strive each day to live holy because He is holy. If you really love the Lord God, then you would walk in His righteousness because He is righteous. If you really love the Lord your God, then you would follow His Will and not your will. If you really love the Lord God, then you would pray in season and out of season because you know there is power in prayer. If you love the Lord, then…”

“When you truly make up your mind and follow Christ, He will restore you. What does restore mean? He will bring you back to His Father who is in Heaven. Your choice to surrender to His will for your life, allows the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and be your permanent guide. As the Holy Spirit leads you, you will notice how the old you will start fading away day by day.”

“As a child of the Most High King, you should love what He loves and hate what He hates. If you are doing things that are not pleasing in the Lord’s eyes, then my question to you is why? Why do you do things you know that God does not approve of? Things like cursing or fornication, or being a habitual liar, or a peace breaker. I could go on and on, but I know you understand what I am saying. Have you ever thought about why these things are so easy for you to do? You do wrong, live wrong and don’t even have a second thought about it. The reason is because you have developed a carnal mind.”

“Somebody asked me, how do I balance my profession with also being a Pastor’s wife? I told that person that whatever I do I am a representation of the God I serve. My job is to act like Him in everything I do. I must be humble because He is humble. I must be holy because He is holy. Today’s word talks about how we should treat our fellow man. Whenever Christ dealt with people, He was always gentle…”

“What is this truth that will make you free? This truth is the death, burial and most importantly the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins and got up with all power in His hands and sitting on the right hand of His Father, then you are saved. This is the truth that will make you free. John 8:36 says, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” If you hold on to the Truth, you are set free from the bondage of sin and shame. There is no reason for you to go around in despair when you have been set free by the Truth.”
